IMUKA TIMUKAT PARIS is a jewelry brand by Japanese designer TAKUMI YAMASHITA.

While studying French at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Takumi went to Paris on a study-abroad program — and it was there that a long-held passion for fashion came back into focus. After returning to Japan to complete her degree, she moved back to Paris and enrolled at the prestigious fashion school Studio Berçot.

During her studies, she interned at the costume jewelry brand Aris Geldis, and was later hired on as a full-time assistant after graduating.

In 2009, she founded her own brand: IMUKA TIMUKAT PARIS.

For seventeen years, the brand was based in Paris. In 2026, for family reasons, Takumi moved the base to Japan for the time being, and now continues to create from her atelier there.

Guided by this concept, every piece is handmade, one at a time — feminine, yet quietly strong. Sometimes described as looking "like a weapon", each design is meant to draw out the beauty and will already within the person who wears it: jewelry as art, worn on the body.
