[Square Ring] How to Measure Your Ring Size

Introduction: Things to Know About Square Rings

When choosing a ring, size is just as important as design and material. Since online shopping doesn't allow you to try rings on, knowing your size in advance will make for a smoother shopping experience.

IMUKA TIMUKAT PARIS square rings feature a unique square form, unlike conventional round rings. For this reason, we recommend measuring your finger using the method below rather than relying on standard ring size charts.

One of the unique characteristics of square rings is that they tend to fit well even if the size is slightly off. Additionally, the slim 2mm width rings are less affected by sizing than wider rings, so finding the right size is not as difficult as it might seem.

Please use the measurement guide below to determine whether S or L is the right size for you.

How to Measure

Method 1: Using a strip of paper or thread

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper (approximately 5mm wide) or use a piece of thread
  2. Wrap it around the second knuckle of the finger you wish to wear the ring on
  3. Mark where the paper or thread overlaps with a pen
  4. Lay it flat and measure the length to the mark in millimeters
  5. Compare with the size chart below

Method 2: Using a measuring tape

  1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the second knuckle of the finger you wish to wear the ring on
  2. Read the measurement in millimeters
  3. Compare with the size chart below

Size Chart

Size Inner Diameter Finger Circumference US Size
S 16mm x 16mm Approx. 54mm-58mm Approx. 6,5-8
L 18mm x 18mm Approx. 62mm-66mm Approx. 10-11

Please Note

  • Square rings differ from round rings, so sizes may vary from standard ring size charts.
  • The wide 7mm type feels tighter than the slim 2mm type. Please keep this in mind when selecting a size for the wide type.
